A wonderful cross pendant from the Victorian era (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and is comprised of several faceted Baltic amber beads that form a large, decorative cross. The amber beads display a warm, rich color and look fantastic in contrast with the bright yellow gold setting. At the center of the cross is a large yellow gold bead, which is etched with an intricately swirled, textured design. Resting in between each amber bead is a small gold cap, and a gold ball completes each end of the cross. The pendant hangs from a large gold ring at the top. It's a lovely piece that would look perfect hanging from a complimentary chain!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 3 1/2" long, measures 2 3/8" at the widest point, and is 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or amber beads, and the bail is secure and intact.
